They embraced the whole range of policies relating to imports , industrial licencing , MRTP and FERA restrictions , import and transfer of technology , computer and electronics development , admission of private sector to the manufacture of telecommunication equipment , pricing and distribution of industrial products and so on . इनमें आयात , औद्योगिक लाइसेंस , प्रतिबंधित एकाधिकार व्यापार , विदेशी मुद्रा प्रतिबन्धन ( एम.आर.टी . पी . तथा फेरा ) टेक़्नोलौजी आयात तथा प्रयोग , कंप्यूटर और इलैक़्ट्रोनिक विकास , दूरसंचार उपकरण निर्माण क्षेत्र में निजी उद्यमियों का प्रवेश औद्योगिक उत्पादों का मूल्यांकन तथा वितरण आदि-आदि से संबंधित सभी नीतियां सम्मिलित थीं .
